French Paintings

I have made two paint trips to France. This video is of some of the plein air and studio oil paintings of Paris, Normandy and the Loire Valley.

    An exquisite collection! I appreciate and admire your artistic joie de vivre taking advantage of an impressionistic urge… shaped, perhaps by the venue and anomalous light shifting on the European countryside influencing your mood, content, composition and brushstroke style emulating the Impressionists of an earlier period that were so taken while painting in the region.
