Help Needed for Demonstration Photo

On Saturday, November 6, at 10:30 a.m., I will be giving a two-hour painting demonstration at Greenhouse Gallery in San Antonio, Texas. I have done several demonstrations in the past and enjoy the interaction with the audience. Questions are always welcome as I am able to paint and talk at the same time, not something every artist is comfortable doing. A French scene with architecture is my preference. However, I'm not sure which photo to use. Which one do you think would be the most interesting to watch me paint?

  1. I say number 2. This photo reminds me of one of mine that I have dabbled with, but haven't nailed down. Thank you Brent!

  2. Hi Brent,
I like the abstract of #3...the bright column should be shifted to the left a little, of course, and probably grayed down a bit so it won't be the focal point. Perhaps more light on the house, too, or at least part of it. Well, that's my two cents.

  3. definately #2. I would love to watch you paint the light and shadows on all the differnet planes of the buildings.

  4. I would like to see Number 3. There are no strong shadows nor any lights on the flowers. It is hard for me to make that kind of scene work. So, I would love to see how you do it.
